Here’s our October newsletter! If you’d like to get updates like this to your inbox, sign up at maximumfun.org/newsletter.

Hi!
It’s time for: justice, standup, awards, seasons, and getting spooky!

Together we raised
$21,789 for justice!

We’re proud to be able to put $21,789 into the hands of the Center for Constitutional Rights, and we couldn’t have done it without you!

Your keychain purchases are going towards real people fighting real legal battles inside of a corrupt system. The Center for Constitutional Rights fights back against human rights violations of all kinds—such as racial profiling, government surveillance, the criminalization of dissent, cruel immigration practices, and, unfortunately, much more. We’re glad to be able to help in this way, together.

If you’d like to donate to CCR directly, you can do so through their website, or get involved in other ways. (And while we have you, please make sure you’re registered to vote in the midterms if you’re eligible!)

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you! The best part of our network is you.

Pod-talk of the town

Tis the season for new seasons!

There’s something strange going on in this small New England town—the stirrings of ritual powerful enough to tear the mortal plane free from the plane of the Gods. And the Gods? Well, they’ve sent in three of their most… expendable to investigate.

Dead Pilots Society brought a pilot back to life (spoooooky). You may have seen commercials for a TV show called Eternally Yours. Well, their table read on the podcast helped bring that show into existence!

Sound Heap with John Luke Roberts is back with a new season where you can hear clips from totally real shows like: Elty Jom’s Lobberly Interviews, Celebrisharks, and of course, What Noise Do You Make When You’re Tickled?

In case you missed it, Dave Holmes has untroubled the waters, giving his show a return to form as International Waters once more! If you like British panel shows and trivia, this is for you. Try this one.

Now’s a great time to binge the newest season of Mission to Zyxx. Afterall, we’re just around the corner from… ZyxxCon II: The Wrath of Con and Zyxx’s live shows at Caveat and NY Comic Con! Get your tix to the fan-run con and to the livestream!

HQ’s Halloween must-sees!

The leaves are turning, the nights are getting longer, and the season’s gone spooky. So, we asked our staff members what creepy cinema always gets them… in the spirit. (cue ghostly wailing). Here’s what they said.

Jacob E. is October’s
Member of the Month!

BUT WAIT! WE HAVE THE TRUTH. STRAIGHT FROM THE RECORDING OF THE PROMO.

The cover page for the October edition of a fake magazine called "Member's Monthly". Largely yellow and red, it features an image of producer Julian Burrell cackling menacingly. It includes the magazine's tagline "behind the scenes at the scene of the crime" as well as several salacious headlines. "SCANDAL IN THE STUDIO! The dark secret Maximum Fun doesn't want you to know" "Never-before-leaked audio" "WE PLAN TO THROW YOU INTO A TOURNAMENT IN A FIGHT TO THE DEATH" "THAT'S HOW WE DETERMINE MEMBER OF THE YEAR"
