Episode notes
You may know Josh Gad from his work in the theater. He was in the original productions for the hit Broadway shows the Book of Mormon and Guttenberg, The Musical.
He’s also an actor on screen! He’s appeared in films like The Rocker The Wedding Ringer, and on shows like Avenue 5 and Curb Your Enthusiasm.
And, of course, he’s the voice of Olaf: the doofy, death-obsessed snowman from the Frozen movies.
Josh has a new memoir out called In Gad We Trust: A Tell Some. In it, he talks about his career but also about his upbringing and his relationship with his distant father, who kept a secret family in South America for a long time.
Josh joins us to talk about what made him want to take on the challenge of writing a memoir. He also gets into what life was like growing up in South Florida. Plus, he tells us when one time is that he will not use his Olaf voice.
