Bullseye’s next guest needs no introduction.
David Letterman is, of course, the longtime late night talk show host. Maybe the most well known of them all: The Late Show, Late Night and even The Tonight Show.
He also had his own morning show for a long time. And before he was on national TV, Dave was a weatherman and local radio DJ back in his hometown of Indianapolis, Indiana.
His latest project is called, My Next Guest Needs No Introduction on Netflix. The show is kicking off its 7th season soon. In it, Letterman sits down for a long, informal chat with people who, quite literally, don’t need an introduction – folks like Barack Obama. Matt Damon, and Julia Roberts.
We talk about his early days breaking into showbiz, his time in Indiana and Los Angeles and his ascent to the Late Show. We also discuss how his personal life intersected with his professional life: Letterman had multiple affairs with subordinates on shows he hosted – he discusses how those relationships affected him and the people around him.
