Episode notes

Wrestling always feels like a weird subject this time of year. But after we discuss some of our favorite Christmas specials, we’ll talk about NXT: War Games!

Overall, it was a fine show… but we just can’t help but mourn for our beloved NXT Black and Gold. Is there any hope to be had as we play the waiting game for whatever the brand turns into?

Plus, we have to shoutout all the women on the main roster of WWE doing such great work. Charlotte got pied! Liv and Doudrop look awesome!

All that, plus MJF and CM Punk proving their two of the absolute best at manipulating a crowd.

Main Event

For the longest time, Johnny Gargano was the franchise player of NXT. He held every title that he could, main evented tons of takeovers and was part of the biggest stories on the brand. And now his future is up in the air.

The Three Count:

Hal put over Batista’s look on Dune

Lindsey put over Kyle O’Reilly’s NXT career.

Julian put over the only WWE Christmas special

Hosted by Hal Lublin and Lindsey Kelk
