Episode notes
This Super Saturday almost knocked us out, but we’ve got a super-sized episode covering SIX national finals: Lithuania’s Eurovizija.LT, Norway’s Melodi Grand Prix, Finland’s UMK, Serbia’s Pesma za Evroviziju, Germany’s Das Deutsche Finale, and of course, Italy’s Sanremo. It’s a lot of show to get through, but we’ve got six new winning songs, including one that feels like it could… go… all… the… way! Jeremy demands a moratorium on dessert songs, Dimitry is ready to rise up, and Oscar refuses to be screeched at by old Italian men.

About the show
Eurovangelists is North America’s top Eurovision podcast, and a Signal Award winner.
The Eurovision Song Contest is the seven-decade spectacle where music, chaos, and national pride collide on a global stage. Each year, the countries of Europe (and Australia!) submit original songs performed live by dynamic artists armed with wind machines, pyrotechnics, and flawless finesse to determine which nation’s song reigns supreme. And somehow, this exhibition of eccentricity is also one of the most important tools defending free speech and independent public broadcasting across the world.
Eurovangelists, the Eurovision podcast that celebrates the comedy and culture of the Contest, is here to guide you through everything you need to know about the show that gave us ABBA, Celine Dion, and a turkey puppet singing on behalf of Ireland. Join American superfans Dimitry Pompée, Oscar Montoya, and Jeremy Bent as they get entirely too excited about the latest ESC news, argue about which song should win this year, and explore the most inspiring, bizarre, and hilarious stories from Eurovision’s start in 1956 all the way to today. Whether you’re a long-time Eurovision fan or completely new to it, they’ll make you into a Eurovangelist too!
