Mary Roach returns to Bullseye to talk about her latest book. She’s the kind of science writer that gets very interested in very specific things.
In Stiff, she wrote about cadavers. In Fuzz, she examined what happens when animals get on the wrong side of the law.
Her latest book Replaceable You: Adventures in Human Anatomy is a history and snapshot of how humankind has gotten better at recreating body parts. All of them: ears, hair, noses, legs, organs and more. She talked with patients and historians about the topic.
