Cornetto Trilogy Showing

When you both spoke about the movies and how these three Edgar Wright movies connect together it reminded me that I, with several of my friends, saw Shaun of the Dead, Hot Fuzz, and The Worlds End all together in the theater. I forget which company did it but the showing started so the final movie, on its opening weekend, started at midnight and each person in the packed theater got their own Cornetto treat. Watching all three movies, in sequence, highlighted just how connected they were, how jokes mirror or flip on themselves through the films, and I would urge anyone to sit down and marathon them. It is a wonderful experience and greatly highlights not only the director's fantastic work behind the camera/writing of the script but also the skill of all the actors and how they can play drastically different characters throughout. Great show.
