Ricky's catch up list

Lovin' the show (as the kids say.) I appreciated your "list of shame" and I wanted to give you some advice on the British shows. (I'm American but I've lived in London for 18 years and love UK culture.) Out of the shows you've mentioned - start with Spaced. It's the funniest and the fewest episodes. Extremely good stuff and it makes me so happy that Simon Pegg and Edgar Wright hit the big time. Also, I'm a big time Doctor Who fan and I would recommend you start with "New Who." (2005 - the present.) I love the old stuff, but I grew up on it.It can be painfully slow and padded out at times - because they were 4 to 6 part serials. They relaunched the show perfectly for the 21st century in 2005 with Christopher Eccleston. (The two since him are also great.)Great humor and delightfully odd ideas.
Red Dwarf is good but it has a weird funny to money ratio. At first - very funny/no money. They hit a golden tipping point half way - funny scripts AND great production values. After that - the show looked great. Not so funny.

Anyway, just wanted to share. I found you guys with my bonus content when I donated last week. Really loving all three of you. Very funny and you make me feel a part of the conversation.
