The MaxFunDrive Game Show Spectacular is Friday, May 14!
Which also means MaxFunDrive ENDS tomorrow! So, I’m just popping in real quick to talk about a couple big things. First:
MaxFunDrive 2021 Game Show Spectacular
Friday, May 14 at 4pm PT / 7pm ET
Join us as we count down to the end of the MaxFunDrive at our finale show! Right now we’re at 16,416 new, boosting, and upgrading members–which is wonderful! Thank you!!
In case you missed it, John Hodgman and Elliott Kalan announced that if we get to 25,000 they will create the successor to I, Podius: A special episode called The Taking of Podcast One, Two, Three (about The Taking of Pelham One Two Three, of course).
AND if we get to 22,000 new, boosting, and upgrading members before the live show ends, James Arthur M. of Minority Korner is going to choreograph an official MaxFun dance and teach it to us. When we were first talking about it, I said, ‘That sounds fun! Everyone can do the MaxFun dance to their favorite show’s theme song and put it on TikTak!’ Tik. Tak. So if I get locked out of MaxFun’s social media accounts now you know why. ANYWAY, below is just a teeny tiny taste of some of the fun we have in store for tomorrow.

Pin sale for charity starts Monday, May 17
While we’re talking about finales, I just wanted to remind you that this is the last year for pins for a while! After five years, we figure it’s time to try something new. In the past, we’ve held a member-exclusive pin sale for charity, tied to reaching our overall goal, but that seemed a little dicey during a pandemic, with our most ambitious goal yet, in a year where charities could really use our support. So we WILL be having the pin sale from May 17 to May 28—no matter what number we land on. And we will be donating all of the proceeds to charity. But we could still use your help trying to hit our goals and the shows’ goals! Especially since we don’t have the lure of pins to help get us there this time.
We’ll send along more detailed info about the pin sale and the charity we’ve chosen on Monday, May 17. As usual, members at the $10 level or higher will be able to purchase pins from all of the shows. And we’ll have one special MaxFunDrive 2021 pin that all members at any level can purchase! If you’re not a member yet, there’s still time to join and get access to the sale!
But let’s get back to tomorrow!
