There’s been a bit of a change in WWE recently– the matches on RAW have been longer and of noticeably higher quality. The cards for the upcoming PLEs (more on that later) are particularly stacked. Dare we say that TKO has released its vice grip on the booking team after WrestleMania failed to live up to standards? We can only guess?
In fact, the only thing that’s dampening the optimism is the fact that Brock Lesnar made is short-awaited debut to continue his program with Oba Femi.
The Main Event
Aside from the wrestling ring and every item that’s involved in a match being converted into a sponsorship, the surest sign of WWE’s big business era is their PLE strategy.
This is the latest evolution in their monthly shows that used to be known as PPVs. So let’s start with a look back.
