What a chaotic week for wrestling, and this time it was for reasons that are more fun to talk about–so let’s do just that on a brand new episode of the Tights and Fights podcast!

There were some fun wrestling developments: The tag titles are getting a lot of love. Bayley will face Iyo Sky for the WWE women’s championship. But we know what everyone REALLY wants to talk about…

The Main Event

When Cody Rhodes won the Royal Rumble for the second year in a row, it was heavily implied that he would take on Roman Reigns to try and finish the story at WrestleMania in Philadelphia. But Cody would surprise everyone on Smackdown by  saying that WrestleMania was NOT where he would face Roman, but that he got in contact with The Rock to “take everything” away from the champion.

We’re recording this on Friday. Thursday was WWE big play to pivot at their WrestleMania kick off event in Las Vegas. The Rock played up his family ties, his heeldom and his alliance with Roman Reigns… And Cody reversed course and chose Roman as his opponent at WrestleMania.

The Three Count

Danielle put over believing in Batista.

Lindsey put over Bayley deserving respect as the rumble winner.

Hal put over Brody Lee Jr. learning to wrestle.
