Another amazing Summer of wrestling is on the way! We’re ready to look forward to it all on a brand new episode of the Tights and Fights podcast.
AEW Collision was finally made official for Saturday evenings. Despite being the (presumed) home of CM Punk wrestling, it has a number of things working against it: competition with boxing, UFC WWE premium live events, college football and more. And if they move forward with their plans to establish a brand split across AEW, our faith in brand splits may be even further degraded.
Speaking of which, WWE is still playing fast and loose with having each show feature completely separate rosters. Even though we still have questions about that, we’re intrigued by the next step of the Bloodline saga with Roman Reigns teaming with Solo Sikoa to win the WWE Tag team championships live from [REDACTED].
The Main Event: Rey Mysterio
Rey Mysterio is one of wrestling’s legends who remains active in WWE. He’s a multiple time world champion and defied convention to become a star in the company. And as if that wasn’t enough, he helped establish a style that inspired hundreds of wrestlers and fans.
