It’s the first week of wrestling of 2022! Time to dive back into the craziness on a brand new Tights and Fights!
WWE’s Day 1 PPV was thrown for a loop when Roman Reigns announced he’d tested positive for COVID-19. The consolation prize: Brock Lesnar as our new WWE Champion! We’ll explain where we think Lesnar goes from here and pour one out for Big E’s time as the top champion.
Plus, AEW Dynamite has a new home on TBS. How did the first show go as multiple people held gold in the company for the first time?
All that and we’ll even get to talk about how much we’re looking forward to what’s next for Liv Morgan.
Main Event
Big Swole left AEW a few weeks ago. This week we learned more about why on her podcast. One of the biggest issues was that she feels AEW has a big diversity and black representation issue. That prompted Tony Khan to put his whole foot in his mouth to defend his company and say that the reason he didn’t renew Swole’s contract was because she’s a bad wrestler.
