Tim Leong’s creative direction and design is some of the best of our time, featuring icons across industries on the covers of magazines. He is also an author, penning a series of Super Graphics that guide you through various comic book universes and Star Wars. His most recent book is the Marvel Super Graphic: A Visual Guide to the Marvel Comics Universe. The book explores 85 years of Marvel comics history through pie charts, scatter plots, timelines, and story arc guides. It’s out now! Tim talks about how he first fell in love with comics AND how he feels seen by a farmer turned NASA pilot in Christopher Nolan’s sci-fi epic INTERSTELLAR.

Then, Jordan has one quick thing about the prehistoric titan Godzilla! 70 years in film and still timeless.

About the show

On Feeling Seen, writer and general enthusiast Jordan Crucchiola invites filmmakers, writers, comedians, and artists to discuss the movie characters that made them “feel seen.” It’s about that instant when a person connects to a piece of art so deeply that they see themselves reflected in it. Every week Jordan gabs it up with a guest about those magical moments when they were watching a film and realized, “That’s me!” It’s an informative, funny, and comforting show about our intimate relationship with movies, the impact they have on our lives, and how they influence our art.
