Episode notes
HUNGRY director James Nunn knew he wanted to be a director from the time he first watch a realistic dinosaur stomp onto the big screen in JURASSIC PARK. And even before that, he was inspired by another Steven Spielberg classic, ‘Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade’ (the one where Indy teams up with his father, played by Sean Connery). A young James (named for James Bond, btw) borrowed his own dad’s robe tie to swing from the bannisters at home. Decades later, a dozen films under his belt (like the ONE SHOT series, WILD CAT, SHARK BAIT, and now HUNGRY), he hasn’t lost his love of storytelling, spectacle, and adventure.
Then, Jordan has one quick thing about the upcoming continuation of Japanese mega-franchise HIGH&LOW.

About the show
On Feeling Seen, writer and general enthusiast Jordan Crucchiola invites filmmakers, writers, comedians, and artists to discuss the movie characters that made them “feel seen.” It’s about that instant when a person connects to a piece of art so deeply that they see themselves reflected in it. Every week Jordan gabs it up with a guest about those magical moments when they were watching a film and realized, “That’s me!” It’s an informative, funny, and comforting show about our intimate relationship with movies, the impact they have on our lives, and how they influence our art.
