Stavros Halkias is a standup comic, born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland. He started out playing clubs in New York and hitting the road whenever he could. Halkias is also a very popular podcast host. His show Stavvy’s World is beloved by thousands and has millions of views and downloads.
On top of all of that, Halkias is also an actor. Last year he appeared in Yorgos Lanthimos’ thriller Bugonia, and now you can catch him in the new Anthony Bourdain biopic, Tony.
Stavros Halkias joins us on Bullseye to chat about Tony, and starring in the film without ever reading a script. He also chats with us about when he discovered a passion for joke telling, the changing culture of standup, his distinct look and much more.
