John Carroll Lynch on being Twisty the Clown in American Horror Story
John Carroll Lynch has played in his fair share of creepy roles. He appeared as the Zodiac killer in the film Zodiac. As Pruitt, the murderous dinner guest in The Invitation. And he also played a sadistic deputy warden in Shutter Island.
But perhaps the scariest role for John Carroll Lynch is on American Horror Story where Lynch plays Twisty – a larger than life, disfigured, serial-killing circus clown. John joins us to chat about what he enjoys most about playing a murderous clown on American Horror Story. He also talks with us about how he got into acting, and what it was like to have his first big role be alongside Frances McDormand in Fargo.

Capturing Bigfoot, a new documentary from Marq Evans
The new documentary Capturing Bigfoot largely centers around one piece of footage. Arguably the most famous footage of an alleged cryptid ever recorded: the Patterson–Gimlin film. Capturing Bigfoot is in part about Bigfoot, but more so about the normal-sized guys who are obsessed with the forest ape. And the funny, fascinating, heartbreaking story of the most famous cryptid footage ever shot.
Director Marq Evans joined us to talk about the new documentary, and what it was like working with the family that captured the alleged Bigfoot footage. We will also read some of the comments people have on reddit in anticipation of his film, and he will take a quiz to help determine if he is more like Bigfoot or Mothman.
