Juliet brings the case against her fiance, Tom. Tom is a "disc ultimate" enthusiast. He's sustained several injuries over the past few years playing the sport. Juliet says he should take a season to recover and prepare to play again. Tom says he's running out of time and needs to get back in the game.

Post-Achilles tendon surgery in fall of 2012 (he's holding a frisbee, which he made me bring to the hospital).

Post- hand surgery in early 2011.

"Two pictures of Tom that demonstrate that Tom can still have a good time and be involved in Ultimate even when he can't play. Here he is captaining the co-ed team out of Kansas City this Summer post knee injury, calling lines and having a grand old Ultimate time."

You Blew This One

This was about one thing: Tom is afraid his youth is slipping away and is concerned he will soon not be good enough to make a competitive team. He doesn't want to be confined to beer leagues. He tipped his hand when he mentioned his team that had 65 people try out for 20 spots. He knows the day is coming when he will not be in the 20. He is trying to play competitively as much as he can before that day.

On a side note: Your podcast is far and away my favorite.
