Happy autumn! It’s finally starting to cool down here in Seattle, and I am so excited for the return of rainy weather, pumpkin everything, and spooky movies. I hope you’re enjoying the arrival of autumn (or spring, for our friends way down south). We’ve got a few exciting announcements here, all of which are only possible because of MaxFun members!
We donated $42,767 to support democracy!
Thanks to our generous members, we were able to donate $42,767 to Vote Riders! What a great way to celebrate Voter Registration Day!
Every year right after MaxFunDrive, we run a charity sale where members can purchase the $10 gift. Since we started this sale in 2017, our members have helped us raise over $600,000 for twelve different nonprofits! This year, we sold pins to raise money for VoteRiders, a nonpartisan charity working to ensure that all eligible U.S. citizens are able to cast a ballot that counts.
We were able to raise $42,767 for VoteRiders thanks to the generosity of our members, which is enough to:
- Secure documentation required for voter registration (e.g. an ID card) for 1,220 voters, or
- Directly reach out to 85,500 voters who are likely to need assistance registering to vote, or
- Train 8,550 volunteers who can help voters get registered, or
- Cover the costs of running VoteRiders’ dedicated helpline for 85 weeks (over a year and a half!)
With a major presidential election forthcoming, this is a critical time to support VoteRiders’ work. If you’d like to support their mission and help them protect democracy, check out their volunteering and donation pages! Also, if you’re an eligible citizen, make a plan to vote!

Changing seasons, new seasons
As the Earth enters a new season, three of our shows are doing the same thing! Which means it’s the perfect time to jump in!
A new season of Sound Heap started Monday!

The Adventure Zone‘s first family-friendly season debuts September 19!
The Adventure Zone: Abnimals will feature a homebrew game system, a distinct lack of swears, and an all-new setting inspired by Saturday morning cartoons. This season is tailored to be engaging for kids—fast-paced, lighthearted, and overall fun—while still being entertaining for adults. If you want a podcast to listen to with the kids in your life (that you’ll both enjoy), you’ve gotta check this out!

TV Chef Fantasy League‘s next season is in the proving oven and will be ready in a few weeks!
That’s right, Great British Baking Show is up next! The coziest of cooking competitions is returning to our televisions later this month, and TV Chef Fantasy League will be there with new fantasy league rules before you can say “no soggy bottoms.”
