We’ve passed 6k! As promised, mark your calendars: the next official MaxFun Meetup Day will be Sunday, October 4! That’s right, we’re gonna try a weekend for folks who can’t make a weeknight work. NYC, I’m bringing donuts no matter what time of day it is.
Will you help us get to 8k? When we do, we’ll hit the streets of LA and sammyboard around town (wear some janky sandwich boards for MaxFun and probably interact with bewildered strangers). Our bracelet artisan, Kira, has made some more MaxFun bracelets just for new members. If you join and you’d like one, just reply with your receipt and we’ll send one out to you (while supplies last).

Keychain sale for charity
One of our favorite ways to band this community together to do good is through our charity sale. Together, we’ve raised over $600,000 for causes that we care about over the years, thanks to you and people like you.
After MaxFunDrive ends, all members at any level can buy our network keychain featuring Mikey, this year’s MaxFunDrive mascot—and members at the $10/month level and above can buy as many keychains for as many shows as they want. One of everything? Squonks only? The choice could be yours!
This year’s proceeds will go towards the Center for Constitutional Rights, who are dedicated to the creative use of law as a positive force for social change. We chose them because, frankly, so many things are a nightmare right now and they fight a wide variety of nightmares.
