I’m writing this to you right after we wrapped our MaxFunDrive Grand Finale Show. ICYMI, the replay is available now! And the intro includes some stellar ‘90s photos of host and staff.
It was the first time we’ve held it for a live audience at MaxFunHQ in yeeeeears and it was chaotic in the best way possible. We loved hanging with people in the chat and getting to see some of you in person. Highlights include: Floam art—aka Flart, some very special PSAs, and a classic game of What’s in the Cooler? (in which Mallory O’Meara absolutely astounded us). Go enjoy it. Watch the replay on our YouTube!
And if you missed any other events throughout the Drive, a lot of them have replays up! Just check out our events calendar for details.
Bonus Days through the weekend!
With MaxFunDrive proper over, we’ve officially entered Bonus Days. That means we’re leaving the doors open for anyone who wanders in on Saturday or Sunday. So if you’ve got a friend who forgets anything they don’t write down on a list (hi, it me), please go remind them that they can still get in on the rad limited-time gifts if they decide to join or upgrade.
We’ve been saying it a lot, but: we’ve done the math and 15,000 is the amount of new, boosting, and upgrading members we need to continue to be able to do what we are doing without scaling anything back. Thank you so much for doing your part to help, and please help spread the word to your friends and family and neighbors.
Pin Sale starts Monday!
On Monday, we’ll be sending around more information on how to access our pin sale for charity. This year, all proceeds will go towards Transgender Law Center!
As usual, members contributing $10/month or more can purchase all of the MaxFunDrive pins featuring shows from across the network, and all members are able to buy this year’s exclusive network pin–Skater Boi Nutsy. If you’re not a member yet and you would like to get in on the pin sale, it’s not to late to join!
We’re also going to have a link so you can donate to Transgender Law Center as part of the MaxFun community if you’d like to do so. The world is pretty scary for a lot of people (…most people?), but especially trans folks, and especially in the US. We aren’t the kind of company that can make big corporate donations ourselves, but what we can do is unite our community and direct your love of pins towards a cause that means a lot to us.
165 people bought gift memberships for MaxFunsters they didn’t know!
Whoa, a lot of MaxFunsters bought a year’s worth of a $5 membership for a person in the community they didn’t even know! (And they’re still coming in, so we still have some to match with recipients!)
165 people chose to spend their hard-earned money on making a stranger’s day brighter. That’s so generous and kind, and it feels really uplifting to see right now. We love this community so much <3
Thank you again for taking part in this year’s MaxFunDrive! We’re all gonna go take naps and we’ll be back Monday with those Pin Sale instructions. Have a lovely weekend!
