We are so grateful for the support the MaxFun audience has shown our network and our shows throughout the past year, including during our annual fundraising drive, the MaxFunDrive. We continue to be moved that, even in a really difficult time, thousands of you chose to support your favorite podcasts via a MaxFun membership; you also bought thousands of pins, which allows us to supercharge our mission of doing good in the world.
The pandemic has proven what we already knew: that having access to the internet at home is a necessity for work, school, healthcare, and keeping in touch with friends and family. So the proceeds from this year’s pin sale went towards EveryoneOn. We’re grateful that, with the support of the MaxFun community, we’re able to help folks in under-served communities gain access to affordable computers, internet services, and digital literacy programs.
On November 22, 2021, Maximum Fun, headquartered in Los Angeles, sent EveryoneOn a donation of $91,125.
This marks the fifth year that Maximum Fun has put our limited-edition enamel pins on sale to MaxFun members at the $10+ monthly membership level. With this year’s donation, Maximum Fun has donated a total of over half a million dollars to nonprofit organizations over the last five years.
We are forever grateful to the MaxFun audience who not only support the work we do, but care deeply about the world at large and enable us to do good for others. We’re also so thankful to the incredible hosts and producers of Maximum Fun shows who have helped cultivate this community. And thank you to EveryoneOn for the important work they do to ensure that people have affordable access to the internet and all of the opportunities that it provides. Every one of us at Maximum Fun is honored to be a small part of this rewarding tradition.
