MaxFun’s tabletop crossover is HERE!

Posted by C.N. Josephs on 10th October 2024

Hi there!

Well, we’re officially into fall now! (At least here in Seattle; sorry, Los Angeles.) Whether you’re looking to escape a heat wave or a sudden burst of cold, this is a great time to curl up inside with something fun to listen to—and we’ve got a special treat to help you do just that!

Tabletop Hullabaloo is here!

Last MaxFunDrive, we promised that if we hit 15,000 new, boosting, or upgrading members, we’d release a spectacular cross-network tabletop game run by Secret Histories of Nerd Mysteries’ Austin Taylor. We are now extremely pleased to present you all with Tabletop Hullabaloo!

We are so grateful to everyone in our audience who supported us during MaxFunDrive 2024 by spreading the word about our network, engaging with us and our shows on social media, and encouraging their friends to check us out! Even if you weren’t able to become a member during this past drive, your support helped us create this beautiful tabletop crossover that may or may not be about fighting against media conglomerate executives:

  • 🎲 Austin Taylor as the Dungeon Master
  • 🗡️ Griffin McElroy as Greese, Bugbear Rogue
  • 🦴 Ellen Weatherford as Dr. Goodbones, Aarakocra Necromancer
  • ✋🏼 Manolo Moreno as Thousand, Gnome Monk
  • 🏹 Jesse Thorn as Little Steven of Lilyhammer, Halfling Ranger
  • 💥 Tom Lum as Fissure Pryce, Gnome Artificer
  • ⚗️ Jeremy Bent as Wum, Kobold Alchemist

Everyone—member or not!—can listen to this fantastic crossover right here:

If listening to that gives you a hankering for more MaxFun TTRPGs, we’ve got a bunch more tucked away in our Bonus Content vault—stuff like…

“Charlieverse” from The Adventure Zone
A delightful two-parter featuring Justin’s six-year-old daughter running an adventure through the terrifyingly fearsome Fruity Pebbles Castle of Torment: A Scary Castle with One Hundred Rats.

“FlopTales” from The Flop House
An eight-part epic released over the course of three past MaxFunDrives—and, of course, we can’t forget the 2023 sequel, “FlopTails”, that gave us the return of FlopTales crew in the form of adorable cartoon dogs.

“RATS! Cheddar Heist” from Let’s Learn Everything!
Join three adventurous rats on an un-brie-lievable heist! Our heroes will search paneer and far to get their cheddar in this grate BoCo. You’d have to be a muenster to not enjoy this one! There’s no way you’ll feel bleu after listening! Cheese!

“Triple Quest” from Triple Click
Join Maddy, Jason, and Kirk on a multi-part BoCo adventure run by Matthew Mercer of Critical Role fame. This is a multi-part series that just released their first episode, so now is a great time to check it out!

And if those aren’t quite to your taste, we’ve got over 600 hours of BoCo  from all your favorite shows—all of which you can listen to for just $5 a month!
