Our 2026 MaxFunDrive goal:
16,000 new, boosting, and upgrading members
MaxFun is about putting more good into the world in a sustainable way. So, why does sustainability require new and upgrading members every year? Because every year, folks drop off. Life happens! Not everyone who enjoys your favorite show can become a member right now. Maybe you can’t help right now, either. But maybe you can!
If you can afford to give $5/month or more, becoming a member or increasing your membership will not only help the shows you love, it’ll help the other folks who rely on it for a little joy in their life. So, if you join, you’re also helping a fellow fan in the community.
Our math says that 16,000 new, boosting, and upgrading members lets us keep doing what we’re doing. It’s not about infinite growth because infinite growth is bonkers. It’s about pitching in to do some lasting good. With your help, we’ll achieve that. With a lot of help, we’ll do even more.

What happens if we hit our goals?
Well, we’re all in this movement for kind, inclusive, fun, creator-owned media together. But we want to get the word out to more people. So, if we hit our goals this MFD, we’re finally gonna get real serious about marketing: MaxFun Coast-to-Coast.
At 8,000 new/boosting/upgrading members: We’re taking it to the streets with handcrafted, pretty janky-looking Sandwich Boards in LA.
MaxFun staff (and maybe hosts) will become human billboards to spread the good word. And at 12,000, we’ll take the sammyboarding (sorry) to NYC. Maybe we’ll even print up flyers and ask people if they like comedy.
We’ve got an even sillier–I mean, even more guaranteed effective–plan for 16,000… but more on that later.
