I know you’re probably busy testing out pie recipes, but let’s take one second to talk about the most fun weekend of the year: MaxFunCon.

For over a decade, MaxFunCon has been an extraordinary weekend of connecting, learning, and laughing with folks in the MaxFun community. We’re very happy to announce that tickets for MaxFunCon 2020 go on sale at 11am PST on Friday, November 29, 2019. We’re a little less happy to announce that MaxFunCon 2020 will be the last regularly scheduled MaxFunCon for the foreseeable future.

MaxFunCon has always been a magical weekend – the culmination of a lot of hard work and planning, to allow two hundred people to come together in the mountains outside of LA. Recently, we’ve started to think more about how to better serve the thousands of new MaxFunsters who join our community every year. Our goal now is to use MaxFunCon as a model for more accessible experiences in the future, that will capture some of the same magic while also letting us connect with more of you. We hope you can join us at Lake Arrowhead, CA from June 12-14, but if you can’t be there, keep your eyes and ears peeled for more events in the future!

And for those of you who aren’t familiar with MaxFunCon and are wondering what all the fuss is about: MaxFunCon is a weekend-long gathering full of friendship, creativity, and comedy that takes place at beautiful Lake Arrowhead, California. The ticket price includes basically everything you need to have an amazing time: all meals (the food there is legit), beverages (including alcohol at select events, if that’s your thing), lodging, two classes taught by pros in their field, several live podcast shows, a stand-up showcase, keynote speakers, a s’mores hangout, a dance party, access to a lovely pool and hot tub, and other activities. And a MaxFun goodie-bag and t-shirt. And most likely a bunch of new friends! It’s a very special thing and we hope you can make it!

(It probably goes without saying, but we expect tickets to sell out very quickly this year. So if you plan to join us, please do your best to be ready to buy a ticket or begin an installment plan at 11am PST on November 29!)
