During the MaxFunDrive back in April, we said that we’d hold another MaxFun Meetup Day in October. Somehow, someway, it is almost October!
A lot has happened at HQ since MaxFunDrive. It’s been busy and, honestly, pretty tough as you probably read about a couple weeks ago. But something that makes us all feel a little better is getting together with cool people, seeing old pals, and making new ones. And maybe that makes you feel better, too.
This is the first time we’ve ever done a meetup on a Sunday, based on feedback that Thursday night can be tough. We really hope this opens meetups up to more people.
When the world is hard, one good thing we can do is build community locally. Hopefully these meetups help with that!
MaxFun Meetup: October Edition

Time: Any time that works for you and your group
What: A chance to hang out with local MaxFunsters (aka: cool people)
How to host a meetup
Just pick a place near you (bar, cafe, park, game store, etc!) and fill out this form so we can add it to our website. We recommend using a service that allows RSVP (most folks seem to use Partiful). It also makes it easy to keep in touch with your new pals after the meetup if you want to hang out again.
Then all you’ve gotta do is show up to the place you said you’d be and have fun with other nice people.

How to attend a meetup
Mark off Sunday, October 4 on your calendar now. Then keep an eye on maximumfun.org/meetup to see if a meetup is being hosted in your location. They’ll end up trickling in, so we’ll send another update before Meetup Day.
