Hi there!
Clear your schedules and charge your earbuds, folks! It’s almost time for everyone’s favorite event of the year—two straight weeks of laughter, rad events, and non-stop podcasting excitement.
That’s right: it’s almost time for MAXFUNDRIVE!
🚀 MaxFunDrive 2025 is March 17-28! 🚀
MaxFunDrive’s back (alright)! From March 17 through 28, we’ll be celebrating all 40+ incredible shows on our network with fun events, gifts for new and upgrading members, brand-new bonus content, and so much more!
MaxFun is a worker- and artist-owned, audience-supported network (as you probably know by now). Most of the money that keeps our lights on comes from people who love our podcasts—like you!—and every year during MaxFunDrive, we all come together to directly ask for your support. Every membership, no matter how big or small, keeps MaxFun going and ensures that your favorite shows can keep making the episodes that help you get through your day .
So mark your calendars, go follow us on Bluesky and tune in to your favorite shows during MaxFunDrive so you don’t miss any of the fun!
MaxFun Meetup Day is Thursday, March 20!
What if you could be in a room with people who laugh at the same stuff you do? And, unlike reality TV, they’re all here to make friends? Sounds like a MaxFun Meetup is for you!
On Thursday, March 20, MaxFunsters all over the world will host small, local gatherings to hang out with fans in their area. Hosting a meetup just takes three easy steps:
1) Find somewhere to host your meetup: a coffeeshop, pub, restaurant, game store, library, or anywhere else that can accommodate a small group
2) Email me at cn@maximumfun.org to let me know where and when your meetup is so I can add it to our directory
3) Show up at the meetup (usually around 6pm local time) and have fun!

Welcome to Hannah Moroz, our new Production Fellow!
The Production Fellowship is one of my favorite things we do at MaxFun. Every year, we bring someone new to the industry on board for a year-long, paid training position. Past Fellows have gone on to produce for Stitcher, Spoke Media, and yes, MaxFun. Breaking into the audio industry is tough if you don’t have experience or a rich uncle — your MaxFun memberships help us make it more possible.
Please join me in welcoming Hannah Moroz (she/he/they), our 2025 Production Fellow, to the MaxFun team! While they graduated with a degree in film, they spend more of their time making music these days (go check out MOROZ!). This podcast experience may honestly make her too powerful for the entertainment industry, but we’re excited to work with this fantastic triple threat of a person.
Daniel Huecias, our excellent 2024 Production Fellow, will be sticking around a little while longer to help out with Feeling Seen! We’re all thrilled we get a few more weeks before we have to say farewell for now.
Thanks for reading! We’ll be back quite soon. In the meantime, we’re all gonna go take a little walk.
Bye, bye, bye!
— C.N. and your friends at MaxFun
