An Update on “Valley Heat”

Posted by C.N. Josephs on 24th July 2024

Hello friends and neighbors!

We’ve gotten questions from a few concerned citizens who are worried about Doug after not hearing from him in a while. Not to worry—Doug is fine, just a bit caught up in all the goings-on of the Rancho Equestrian District!

I reached out to Doug a few days ago to check on how things are going in the neighborhood, and he gave me a message to pass on to everyone. I guess either Doug or Faye must have mentioned this to Chuck, because Chuck emailed me earlier today with his own message. Hopefully Doug won’t mind that I’m including both!

Hi It’s Doug – I’m sorry the new episode isn’t done! Some episodes take longer than others. No one is angrier with me than Chuck, who still thinks he owns 51% of this show. Making these eps is a full time job and I promise the show isn’t going anywhere! I will make sure there are plenty of Good Morning Burbank episodes between Valley Heat episodes. As an apology, I am open to taking a (single) punch to the face.

take it easy,
Doug :{

Hi, this is Chuck Baker, Owner and President of Chuck Baker Auto Empire. In case my son-in-law Doug is writing you an “apology” for being shiftless and not delivering the show in a timely manner, I urge you to punch him in the face (more than once). Yes, he is in the garage all day, but  90% of the time he’s doing that breakdance headspin move. The rest of the time he’s doing The Worm to a vacation destination.

Good Day,

Chuck Baker
Pr4sident of Chuck Baker Auto Empire
Owner and Executive Producer of Chuck Baker’s Valley Heat Podcast

So there you have it! I’ve already told both of them that I live too far from Burbank to punch Doug in the face, so there’s nothing else to do from here but wait for the next episode. I can’t wait to see what’s been going on in the neighborhood!

Best,
