Dead Pilots Society presents: Royal Pains
After eight seasons on USA, medical dramedy Royal Pains was headed for a reboot at NBC, from EPs Andrew Lenchewski, Michael Rauch, and EP/star Mark Feuerstein. Like so many navigating the American healthcare system — and the TV development process — the pilot received excellent care right up until it died of undisclosed complications.
On December 15th, Mark Feuerstein, Paulo Costanzo, Reshma Shetty, Brooke D’Orsay, and more cast members, and special guest Henry Winkler reunite for one last, medically dicey resuscitation.
In Dead Pilots Society, scripts that were developed by studios and networks but were never produced are given the table reads they deserve.
Presented by Andrew Reich (Friends; Born Innocent: The Redd Kross Story) and Ben Blacker (Thrilling Adventure Hour; The Writers Panel).
