Episode notes
When we were all in Louisville together for our live show, we took the opportunity to record a pair of Shoctober episodes all together in person, and this is the first one! What happens when the only version of Dracula that Luc Besson seems to be familiar with is “Bram Stoker’s Dracula?” We get DRACULA (2026), which takes all the extra nonsense from the Coppola version and adds some more French nonsense on top of it.
FLOP TV SEASON FOUR is underway! Pick up a pass for individual episodes or the whole dang season! Next up (on 11/7), we’ll be talking GLADIATOR! If you miss us live, your ticket also buys access to an on-demand recording (through February, 2027)!

About the show
The Flop House is a bimonthly audio podcast devoted to the worst in recent film. Your hosts (Elliott Kalan, Dan McCoy, and Stuart Wellington) watch a questionable film just before each episode, and then engage in an unscripted, slightly inebriated discussion, focusing on the movie’s shortcomings and occasional delights.
