Biography
Laura Hosue is a comedian who’s written on the Emmy award-winning shows Mom and Samantha Who. Other television writing includes: The George Lopez Show and Loosely Exactly Nicole. She starred in MTV’s first scripted sitcom, and has performed stand-up on HBO, NBC, Comedy Central and around the globe. Her popular comedy album Mouth Punch is a Comedy Dynamics production. Laura’s writing appears in VICE, Broadly, and several anthology books. Her script “How to Hate Yourself” landed on the We For She list. She’s currently the showrunner of the BAFTA-winning, Emmy-nominated BBC series, Secret Life of Boys. Laura has also been a meditation teacher for over a decade because all that other stuff was stressful.
