Ella McLeod

Biography

Ella is a podcast producer, performer and fiction writer based in London, UK. She was raised by two city-people parents who were increasingly confused as Ella obsessively rode horses, read books about animals (both mythical and material) and slowly but surely turned them into animal lovers themselves. After six fish, two rabbits, ten dog nieces and nephews, and many allergies, Ella gave Persephone the Bengal cat (aka Persey, Pickle, Princess P etc) a forever home in 2020. Last year, Ella’s mum and dad met Simba, the goofiest floof in all the world, and resigned themselves to their pet parent life. She is currently producing Sony’s chart topping UK podcast Exactly with Florence Given and her debut novel, Rapunzella, Or, Don’t Touch My Hair is out this July.
