Biography

Christian Dueñas is an editor/producer here at MaxFun and works on the shows Heat Rocks and Troubled Waters. He’s also done stuff for Stitcher, Earwolf, HBO, Little Everywhere, and more. He initially studied to become a nurse, but quickly learned that he does not like it at all and naturally pivoted to podcasting.  Longtime MaxFunsters may know him as “that guy whose grandpa’s favorite genre of movie is Talking Dog movies.”

Chris was born and raised in South LA and knows where you can get great pupusas. He loves cooking, dogs, collecting records, and playing way too many videogames. Seriously, he owns a lot of videogames and it’s starting to worry his mom.
