Wham Bam Pow

This week, we engage in some complicated time travel with X-Men: Days of Future Past, and we all lament Kitty Pryde's lack of activity. Plus, inspired by Evan Peters's performance, Cameron solicits Quicksilver vehicles from Rhea and Ricky.

Next week we'll be watching Edge of Tomorrow, which opens tomorrow!

Follow us on Twitter! Cameron is @cameronesposito, Rhea is @rheabutcher and Ricky is @rickycarmona. Discuss the show using the hashtag #WhamBamPow!

You watched a different movie than I did

You all need to re-watch First Class and really pay attention to the dynamic between Charles, Raven, and Erich. The fallout of their relationships is central to DOFP and Raven/Mystique is the pivot point of where the future goes; so of course Charles and Erich are going to use whatever influence they can to push their apposing views of saving mutant kind. Also I'm sorry Mystique wasn't feminist enough for Cameron. Perhaps if she'd been kicking men's asses and attempting a presidential assassination in Gloria Steinem sunglasses and pant suit that would have eased some of Cameron's contentious views of the film. Again, re-watch First Class and see that Raven is young woman who wants love and acceptance in a world that fears and hates her. As gay women I thought you would focus on these aspects of Jennifer Laurence's performance and themes of the film and not the cheap shots you lobbed at this movie. I really love your podcast and the three of you. I just vehemently disagree with your review of this film.

I totally agree with you on Quick Silver!
