Biography

Jesus Ambrosio is one of the producers of Bullseye from Maximum Fun and NPR. Before joining Maximum Fun, he worked at two radio stations in Southern California.

At KPCC 89.3, he worked as a journalist for the public affairs program, Off-Ramp. During his time at KPCC he took listeners all over Southern California: to SoCal’s first cider bar in Long Beach, to a gyoza eating championship in Little Tokyo, and even a Korean BBQ restaurant in Montclair where robot overloads serve the food. And who could forget the time he introduced listeners to the grumpiest Christmas elf?

At KKJZ 88.1, he worked for the special projects department. And if you called during pledge drive fundraisers you might have heard him on the other end ready to take your donation.

Jesus is a graduate of California State University, Long Beach. He still plays Pokémon Go, and his favorite Pokémon is Slowpoke.
