It's that time of year again, where Americans sit around a table and stuff their faces with food even more than usual. There are so many signature dishes associated with Thanksgiving, and instead of digging right into the Turkey, Mark and Hal are shining the spotlight on side dishes to come away with the very best one.

Topics include:

- Mushroom gaslighting

- Cheese

What? Corn dismissed way too soon...

I have to take exception to your negligent dismissal of corn.

I prepare a corn dish for Thanksgiving that my family REQUIRES me to bring each year.
It's a corn casserole - and it is delicious. :)

1 can whole kernel (11 oz)
1 can corn cream corn (11 oz)
1 pkg corn bread mix (8 oz)
1 container sour cream (8 oz)
1 cup cheddar cheese
1 egg

Mix all ingredients together and put in a greased 9x13 baking dish.
Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.

(For fun, you can exchange mexi-corn for the whole kernel corn.)
