To be fair to Anthony

To be fair to Anthony Horrowitz (who i have never read a book of his or any fondness to him) in that interview after saying Elba was too street he then named a different black British actor who he thought was more suave and appropriate. But outside of that interview literally no one reported that because it's a far less interesting story.

He is wrong, he probably just watched the Wire and missed the point that Elba was not the street one, he was the aspirational and sensible one.
